About us

Noratar Hooshmand Knowledge-Based Company is a knowledge-based company consisting of professors, students and graduates of Tehran State Universities, which has been set up at the Sharif University of Technology Technology Park with the aim of developing new optical, optical and quantum technologies. This company is the result of bringing together the scientific and executive efforts of Professor Alireza Bahrampour, a professor at Sharif University of Technology and his scientific departments during the last 45 years.

The philosophy of starting a company is based on two real weaknesses in the production of science and labor in the country. The first problem is the phenomenon of brain drain, especially among the top students of the country’s universities, another is the weakness of commercialization of scientific products produced in universities, as well as the long distance between science and industry.

The company’s policy is that by establishing international cooperation, along with the production of reliable and quality products, as well as serious attention to exports and forecasting the future of the industry and moving towards it, a sustainable company can be created. At Noratar Hooshmand, we believe that producing high-tech products can create a lot of added value. Highly scientific human resources will be the source of this added value, and in return we will move wealth to the real industry.

Sharif Smart Structures Technology Core (the initial structure of the company in the growth center of Sharif University of Technology), started its work in 1993 at the growth center of Sharif University of Technology with the aim of developing the products of Sharif University of Technology Photonics Group. Creating a legal structure, Noratar Hooshmand Company registered and started operating around the central idea of “Fiber Optic Continuous Sensor System”.

Noratar Hooshmand Co., Ltd. designs, manufactures and markets optical fiber sensing systems and optical optical testing and measurement equipment based on advanced and proprietary technologies. Noratar Smart is committed to cutting-edge optical testing and measurement technologies and providing high-end surveillance systems and macro solutions for smart power lines, communications networks, petrochemicals, smart transportation and public security.

Product overviews

Smart Noratar offers high quality optical measurement products, such as fiber optic sensors, optical test instruments, laser diode sources and other optoelectronic modules. Noratar Hooshmand has the independent intellectual property rights of all products. Smart Noratar distributed fiber optic sensors have been successfully implemented in Grid State.

Our team

A dynamic economic organization invests significantly in R&D, and the highest added value comes from the company’s R&D. Accordingly, in Noratar Hooshmand company, considering this issue, an attempt has been made to design a well-researched and developed department and to use the forces of universities and graduates with different scientific levels in related chains. Therefore, the company’s research and development department is composed of optics and fiber optics groups, electronics and control mechanics groups, civil engineering groups, computing and software groups.

Due to the importance of commercialization and the process of engineering and production, a small group has been considered for this issue. The group is planning in consultation with external consultants regarding the design of the product production process.
