The optical fiber strain and temperature distribution sensing system, developed by Novatar Smart Company, is a complex system based on a number of patented technologies integrated with optical, mechanical, electronic modules and software algorithms. Fiber-optic reflection-based DTS systems exploit spontaneous scattering caused by interactions between light (photons) and molecular vibrational modes (optical photons).
